Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster future-thinking culture and ideation
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and Board of Directors
- Manage innovation incubation programs from concept to market validation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify future opportunities through scenario modeling and risk assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- 10+ years experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and foresight frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive change through influence
