Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and assess emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to executive stakeholders
- Drive sustainable technology initiatives in alignment with ESG goals
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory impacts on innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth sectors
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Prior experience scaling technology startups to enterprise level
