Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technology applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation decisions
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into core offerings
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation pipeline maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record translating technology trends into commercial products
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across R&D, product, and marketing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
