Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps incorporating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops for board-level executives on 2026 market disruptions
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech startups and patent landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Present strategic frameworks at global innovation summits (Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists and build a cross-functional innovation council
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or venture-backed startups
- Expertise in emerging tech forecasting (AI, blockchain, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products with >$100M impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
