Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (metaverse, neural interfaces, etc.) for strategic integration
- Present technology vision to C-suite stakeholders and Board of Directors with data-driven insights
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and scalable deployment of future solutions
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for emerging technology domains
- Mentor technical teams in next-generation development methodologies and future-focused skillsets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching technology products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or peer-reviewed research in emerging fields
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (GDPR, CTA, etc.)
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, Singularity University) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
