Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (2026-2030 horizon) including AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business growth objectives
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption ROI and competitive advantage
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor R&D teams in agile development of futuristic proof-of-concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, IoT, blockchain, or neurotech
- Experience with futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech trends into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies required
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or industry disruption
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
