- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential market impact by 2026
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal implications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futurism
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products in AI, biotech, or quantum computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning for complex technological ecosystems
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive innovation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Experience securing government grants for futuristic technology R&D
