Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product/service concepts
- Conduct competitive analysis and market landscape assessments for nascent technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future technology concepts
- Build relationships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields preferred
- Experience working in agile/rapid prototyping environments
