Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neural interfaces)
- Analyze global tech patents and academic research to identify competitive advantages
- Present strategic briefings to board members and investors on future tech opportunities
- Establish innovation partnerships with university research labs and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
