Responsibilities
- Design and prototype next-gen human-computer interaction systems (2026-2030 horizon)
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams combining AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technological adoption across industries
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech paradigms
- Author whitepapers on the societal impact of emerging technologies
- Secure partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global innovation labs
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough work)
- Published research in Nature/Science on human-machine interaction or AI ethics
- Proven track record of shipping radical technologies (3+ products with 1M+ users)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, synthetic biology
- Deep understanding of Singularity University's exponential tech frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology vision (patents, prototypes, or conceptual designs)
- Experience with global tech policy development (UN, WEF, or national tech councils)
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and emerging quantum programming languages
