Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype next-gen systems (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics frameworks) for 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with researchers, engineers, and business strategists
- Develop future-readiness frameworks for enterprise clients across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Author white papers and thought leadership on technological singularity implications
- Secure $2M+ in R&D grants through DARPA, NSF, and private innovation funds
- Mentor junior talent in emerging tech methodologies and ethical innovation practices
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years R&D experience
- Proven track record in prototyping at-scale systems (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI safety
- Experience securing government/private innovation funding ($1M+ projects)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in Python/C++ with experience in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq) and neural network optimization
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized innovations with measurable market impact
- Validated understanding of ethical AI frameworks and technological governance models
