Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to measure ROI of experimental technologies
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across product, engineering, and operations teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and rapid prototyping
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem (VCs, research institutions)
