Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with business growth targets
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position Nexus at the innovation frontier
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future technologies or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong stakeholder management experience across all organizational levels
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation
- Experience in scaling teams and managing innovation budgets over $5M
