Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports analyzing disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives to prepare for post-2025 market shifts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs focused on future technologies
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to evaluate emerging technologies' enterprise viability
- Present futures insights at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing technology trend analyses with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) adoption curves
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on future-of-work implications
