Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying emerging trends with 3-5 year impact potential
- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and integrate next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, immersive interfaces)
- Develop scenario-based models for technology adoption and market disruption
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven risk/benefit analyses
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D partners
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture through workshops and hackathons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in emerging tech or innovation roles
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused technologies in enterprise environments
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized AI
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from World Future Society or similar)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Strategic Management, or related field
- Demonstrated experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of successfully implemented future-tech initiatives with measurable ROI
