- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields like generative AI, quantum algorithms, and carbon-neutral tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic technologies into scalable enterprise solutions
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and investors to secure funding and buy-in
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists to foster a culture of forward-thinking experimentation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching or scaling at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating emerging technologies' commercial viability
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding through compelling business cases
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Practitioners Network) preferred
