Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen product prototypes in our innovation lab
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to prioritize technology investments
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in technology innovation preferred
- Start-up or high-growth company experience essential
