Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market opportunity assessments
- Partner with product teams to translate tech insights into commercial offerings
- Build innovation ecosystems through academic and industry partnerships
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for emerging tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate, Lean Startup)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in emerging technologies
