- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to identify disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
