Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech adoption barriers
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Present strategic briefings to investors and executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-critical solutions
- Author annual Future Tech Impact Reports for industry publication
- Manage $5M innovation fund for 2026 pilot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or emerging tech roles
- Proven experience with technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature Technology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year tech strategy implementations
- Fluency in strategic modeling tools (System Dynamics, Agent-Based Modeling)
