Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Identify and assess emerging tech startups for strategic partnerships or acquisitions
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact analyses
- Establish innovation governance frameworks balancing ethical considerations and commercial viability
- Drive thought leadership through industry whitepapers and keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (post-2020)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
