Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and market trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive leadership and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policy developments and recommend compliance/adaptation strategies
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of future-focused experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their business applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Strong network in tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Austin, Boston)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
