Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-month implementation milestones
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum applications, AGI integration, and carbon-neutral tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging tech paradigms
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-driven impact projections
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 8-12 specialists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through stakeholder alignment and ROI modeling
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen tech incubation programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum initiatives to $50M+ revenue
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing platforms
- Patent portfolio demonstrating disruptive innovation
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for future-tech R&D
