Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation in 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech priorities
- Partner with venture capital team to identify and evaluate disruptive startups
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting 2026 landscape
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation and forecasting
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (strongly preferred)
