Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable software architectures capable of handling exponential growth and emerging technologies.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research into cutting-edge technologies (AI, Quantum Computing interfaces, Edge Computing) and evaluate their integration into our core product suite.
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with C-suite executives to define the technical vision for 2026, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce high engineering standards, conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary technical liaison between product, design, and engineering teams to bridge the gap between conceptual design and technical execution.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Develop robust contingency plans and security protocols to safeguard our data infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architecture role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern programming languages (Python, Rust, Go, or TypeScript).
- Future Tech Knowledge: Demonstrated experience or strong interest in AI/ML, Blockchain, or Quantum Computing principles.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to break down complex problems into manageable technical components and deliver innovative solutions.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
