Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the 2026 vision, identifying emerging trends such as AI, Quantum Computing, and Spatial Computing.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and researchers in prototyping and validating cutting-edge solutions that solve complex, long-term business problems.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product managers to translate high-level strategic goals into actionable technical specifications.
- Technology Evaluation: Conduct deep-dive research and due diligence on new technologies to assess feasibility, ROI, and potential integration points.
- Innovation Lab Management: Oversee the "Innovation Lab," fostering a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping.
- Process Improvement: Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery of future-forward projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a strategic or visionary leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and distributed systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Vision: Proven track record of anticipating industry shifts and driving organizational change.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in cloud architecture or AI/ML are highly preferred.
