Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Troubleshoot desktop/laptop configurations, printers, and network connectivity problems
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications
- Create and update documentation for IT processes and user guides
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and security patches
- Monitor ticket queues and maintain service level agreements (SLAs)
- Assist with new employee onboarding and equipment provisioning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor's degree in IT preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent coursework a plus
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
