Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems in warehouse environments.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- General Labor: Perform physical tasks including loading and unloading trucks, packing, and organizing workspaces.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible scheduling, including weekends and overtime.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to various job sites in the Portland metro area.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required by client facilities.
