Join our award-winning design team for an immediate 6-month contract opportunity in Austin's thriving tech hub. We're seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer to transform complex user challenges into intuitive digital experiences. This hybrid role requires 3 days/week in our downtown Austin studio with flexible remote options. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact designs for our fintech platform, working with cutting-edge tools in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe XD
- Conduct user research sessions and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create interactive prototypes and design systems for consistent brand experience
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Analyze user behavior data to optimize conversion funnels
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Document design specifications and maintain design libraries
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with portfolio showcasing SaaS products
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, testing)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale
- Experience working in agile development environments
