Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to implement responsive front-end solutions with React
- Optimize database performance through SQL query tuning and NoSQL integration
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated testing and deployment
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for security and performance
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely technical documentation
- Mentor junior developers during project onboarding phase
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and React
- Expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with RESTful API design and development
- Strong background in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with JIRA proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to start within 1-2 weeks and commit to 6-month contract
