Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Execute on-page and technical SEO audits to optimize website performance and content structure.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly copy and metadata.
- Monitor search engine rankings and traffic trends using Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Implement and manage local SEO strategies to improve visibility in the Boston market.
- Prepare detailed monthly performance reports and actionable recommendations for clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO, preferably within a contract or freelance capacity.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours (20-25 hours/week) as a contractor.
