Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for enterprise-wide deployment
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies including neural-symbolic systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with C-suite executives and technical teams
- Author industry white papers on AI fairness, bias mitigation, and value alignment
- Design audit protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption in regulatory and policy forums
- Mentor junior ethicists and build organizational ethics competencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in machine learning fairness metrics and bias mitigation techniques
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals or conferences
- Experience with ISO/IEC 42071 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Strong background in cognitive science and human-computer interaction
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Certification in Responsible AI from recognized institutions (e.g., Stanford HAI)
