Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging global regulations
- Lead cross-functional ethics reviews for AI systems involving generative models and autonomous decisioning
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for AI deployments across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Partner with engineering teams to design ethical-by-default AI architectures and validation protocols
- Represent the company in industry forums on AI ethics, contributing to policy discussions with bodies like NIST and IEEE
- Create educational programs to build organizational AI literacy and ethical decision-making capabilities
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in AI and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in AI governance frameworks including EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI systems in regulated industries (healthcare/finance preferred)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidelines for diverse stakeholders
- Strong background in risk assessment methodologies specific to AI vulnerabilities and bias mitigation
- Experience with generative AI deployment ethics and LLM safety protocols
