Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging regulatory standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models across all product lines
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Author impact assessments evaluating societal consequences of AI deployments
- Establish transparency protocols for AI decision-making systems
- Advocate for inclusive design practices in AI product development
- Monitor emerging AI ethics research and translate findings into actionable policies
- Represent the organization in industry ethics coalitions and regulatory dialogues
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible technology roles
- Expertise in bias detection methodologies and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations and ethical frameworks
- Experience developing organizational ethics policies and governance structures
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex ethical trade-offs
- Exceptional communication abilities to articulate technical ethics concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics preferred
