Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks for ethical AI governance and bias mitigation in 2026-era systems
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on AI societal impacts and human-AI interaction paradigms
- Design and implement fairness metrics for next-generation autonomous systems
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead cross-functional initiatives on responsible AI adoption strategies
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier AI ethics journals and conferences
- Advise policymakers on emerging AI regulatory frameworks and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with AI focus
- 3+ years researching AI ethics, algorithmic bias, or responsible AI systems
- Expertise in machine learning fairness metrics and interpretability techniques
- Strong background in ethical theory and applied ethics in technology
- Published work in AI ethics venues (NeurIPS, FAccT, AAAI Ethics Track)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF) and policy development
- Proficiency in Python/R for empirical research and bias analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical ethics concepts
