You'll lead cross-functional teams in implementing ethical guardrails for next-generation AI applications, ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations and societal expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems in healthcare, finance, and autonomous tech
- Develop real-time monitoring dashboards tracking AI ethical performance metrics
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations into the AI development lifecycle
- Lead stakeholder workshops with C-suite executives to communicate ethical risks and mitigation strategies
- Author position papers on AI ethics for regulatory bodies and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years in AI governance, risk management, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with ethical impact assessments for autonomous systems or generative AI
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder communication
- Published research or industry recognition in AI ethics or responsible innovation
