Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Lead cross-functional teams in auditing algorithmic fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Establish real-time monitoring systems for ethical compliance in production AI systems
- Collaborate with regulators to shape emerging AI legislation and industry standards
- Design bias mitigation protocols for high-stakes applications in healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Create stakeholder engagement frameworks for transparent AI decision-making processes
- Lead crisis response protocols for ethical breaches in AI systems
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in implementing AI ethics frameworks at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global AI regulations
- Experience with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI technology
- Strong background in machine learning system architecture and deployment
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CAPP, AI Ethics Certificate)
