Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning models for bias and fairness
- Develop international standards for AI transparency and explainability
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory responses to emerging technologies
- Conduct scenario planning for existential risk mitigation in AGI development
- Train technical teams on ethical AI deployment practices
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record designing governance frameworks for high-stakes AI systems
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation and fairness metrics for ML models
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Experience publishing peer-reviewed research on AI alignment problems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Background in biotech or neurotechnology ethics preferred
- Ability to lead under uncertainty in rapidly evolving technological landscapes
