Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups and acquisition targets in frontier tech
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and investment committees
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for prototyping 2026-era solutions
- Publish thought leadership on technology disruption and sustainable innovation
- Advise on ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in anticipating technological disruptions (e.g., blockchain, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board decisions
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
