Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging tech opportunities
- Produce strategic foresight reports on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create scenario-planning frameworks for regulatory and ethical implications
- Mentor R&D teams in implementing future-proof architecture principles
- Present quarterly technology horizon briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research on exponential technologies or strategic foresight
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial applications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on tech transformation
