Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite to align future-state technology investments with market evolution
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and disruption vectors
- Champion innovation labs prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Present future scenarios to board members and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 10+ years experience in emerging technology strategy at Fortune 500 firms
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, neurotech
- Published thought leadership on technology forecasting (IEEE, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing future-proof technology roadmaps
- Experience advising boards on exponential technology risks/opportunities
