Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable impact milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and scaling breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, incubation programs, and R&D initiatives
- Present strategic vision and progress to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI analysis and resource allocation
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats for 2026 landscape
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, PhD, or equivalent experience)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets with 20%+ efficiency gains
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation methodologies
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (Blue Ocean, Lean Startup, etc.)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
