Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for AI adoption, climate tech integration, and workforce evolution
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and market teams
- Present future-proofing strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ strategic investments
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or C-suite futurist role
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of global megatrends: demographic shifts, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio of implemented future-strategy initiatives with measurable impact
