Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) with 2026+ impact
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic vision
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Guide ethical frameworks for emerging technologies implementation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive experience
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
