What You'll Accomplish:
Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks. Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors. Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investment committees. Drive innovation sprints focused on quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2035 horizons
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends
- Manage innovation incubation programs for moonshot projects
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and summits
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and strategists
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Strong network with academic futurists and venture capitalists
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
