Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum AI, biometric interfaces, and neuro-symbolic computing
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging paradigm shifts
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Partner with academic institutions for joint patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic engineering
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong background in ethical AI governance frameworks
- Track record of commercializing disruptive technologies
- Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
