Job Description
Join the forefront of technological evolution as a 2026 Quantum Computing Architect at Nexus Future Labs. We're pioneering the next generation of quantum systems that will redefine computation by 2026. This role demands a visionary who can translate quantum theory into scalable, real-world architectures while pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
You'll lead the design of fault-tolerant quantum processors, develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks, and collaborate with Nobel laureates to solve humanity's most complex challenges. If you thrive at the intersection of physics, computer science, and cutting-edge engineering, this is your moment to shape the future.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm development for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Define quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and strategic partners
- Mentor quantum engineering talent in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems or error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and topological qubits
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives
