As a cornerstone of our R&D division, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop fault-tolerant quantum processors, optimize quantum algorithms, and establish industry standards for quantum security protocols. Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks achieving 99.99% qubit fidelity for commercial-scale quantum computers
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to quantum computing threats
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or top-tier quantum conferences
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Ability to translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D projects
