Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and blockchain ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercial potential
- Shape innovation funding strategies and manage $10M+ R&D portfolio
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich research labs
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep network connections with global research institutions and VCs
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
