Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight frameworks
- Analyze emerging tech trends and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with 10+ engineers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies
- Publish thought leadership in industry whitepapers and conferences
- Manage portfolio of 8-12 innovation prototypes
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record delivering tech roadmaps 3+ years ahead
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Portfolio of 3+ successfully launched future-tech products
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning tools
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills
